I like them a lot. I am used to medal needles and they slip. Bamboo does not. Also easier on my hands.

My first time at this adorable yarn shop. Lauren was so helpful. She helped me pick out yarn and of course I saw some other goodies I had to buy! I’ve been looking for the chart keeper for years. It is perfect for following a knitting pattern. I will be visiting this shop again soon.

Taking a knitting skills class with Lauren is a very rewarding experience.
In the basic Introduction to Ravelry site I learned how to navigate around the Ravelry website. Many of the options I learned about I am gradually adding to my repertoire. In the second Ravelry class, I learned how to use my remaking yarns from an initial project. Remaining yardage was determined then the search for the project began using much of what was presented in class. Overall a very worthwhile class.

Learning how to use the chain counter was easy. It proved to be quite efficient for counting my sock’s heel decreases. It was better than the my clicker counter. I didn’t accidentally make an additional click when storing knitting.

Lovely yarn, and very nice to work with. I am making the One Row Crescent shawl, and the yarn feels pleasant in the hands, drapes nicely, and the garter stitch has a good squish to it.

Lovely yarn for crochet, very soft and i think it will wear well.

Lauren is a great instructor. I had never been able to do more than cast on but was able to do both knit and purl stitches at the conclusion. The atmosphere in the shop is warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend this shop and all it offers.
